On October 28-29, 2020, the 40th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Urban Lighting Professional Committee of the China Municipal Engineering Association and the Third Council of the 14th Urban Lighting Professional Committee of the China Municipal Engineering Association • China Urban Lighting Summit Forum was held in Wuhan. Wang Weiyi, Vice President and General Manager of the Internet of Things Application Division of Shenzhen EXC-LED Technology Co., Ltd., attended together with the branding team and sales elite teams from Central China, South China, North China, Southwest, Northwest, and Northeast China. At the Urban Lighting Summit Forum in the morning on October 28th, Wang Weiyi, Vice President and General Manager of the Internet of Things Application Division of EXC, gave a keynote speech on ″Love Light, Love City, Smart IoT″, reviewing the development history of EXC Smart Cloud Control Platform and iterative upgrades, deeply introduced the technical advantages and classic application cases of the EXC-ECCP4.0 smart cloud control platform, showing the powerful operation and maintenance management capabilities of the cloud control platform, which can greatly enhance the level of urban smart management. Among them, EXC′s smart street lights are integrated with smart lighting, 5G micro base stations, environmental information collection, smart monitoring, smart municipal and other multi-functional IoT smart ecosystems, which have realized the development in Shenzhen, Chaoyang, Yancheng,implementing applications in the construction of 5G smart cities in Lishui, Chengde and other places.

In the morning on October 29th, the Smart Lighting Summit Round-table Conference was chaired by Zhong Zhenzong, Secretary-General of the Municipal Committee of the Shenzhen Urban Illumination Society, Sun Weiping, Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Electrical Illumination Society/Director of the Expert Committee of the Sichuan Illumination Electrical Appliance Association, and other five guests including Zhang Xun, Chief of Technical Section, Urban Lighting Management Office, Changzhou City, and Wang Weiyi, Vice President and General Manager of the Internet of Things Application Division of EXC, participated in the dialogue session. The guests conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the theme of ″Smart City Lighting Development″ from policy interpretation, case sharing, risk control and refined maintenance, and shared their experiences and opinions for the development of smart city lighting.

Commendation and awards, moments of glory

In the afternoon on October 29th, the 40th anniversary commendation event and the ″Golden Cup Award″ awarding session commended outstanding units and advanced individuals who have made positive contributions to the urban lighting industry. The collective commendation projects included ″China Urban Lighting Excellence Management Unit″ and other 9 awards and personal commendation awards included ″China Urban Lighting Outstanding Contribution Award″and other 7 awards. EXC won 4 awards including China Urban Lighting Outstanding Brand Enterprise, China Urban Lighting Outstanding Contribution Member Unit, China Urban Lighting Advancement and Innovation Unit and Best Support Unit. In addition, the ″EXC Cup″ China Urban Lighting Photo Contest Award Ceremony was held at the same time. A total of 5 contestants won awards, of which 4 won the Excellence Award in the Camera Group and 1 won the second prize in the Mobile Phone Group.

EXC′s appreciation night shone in Wuhan, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Urban Lighting Professional Committee of the China Municipal Engineering Association. We were grateful for the support and care of our leading customers. We set up multiple rounds of lucky draws and hoped everyone spend an enjoyable ″Night of EXC″ with joy and laughter. The 7th CISM Military World Games project in which EXC participated was the first city to adopt a centralized control cloud control platform for landscape lighting on a city-wide scale. A live broadcast connection was used at the dinner party to connect to the Wuhan General Control Center. Vice President of Marketing Zhai Liping gave an operation demonstration for everyone, and presented the intuitive visual experience of the intelligent operation of the cloud control platform to the guests and friends.
