Solar energy is a very important clean and renewable energy. The successful application of solar energy in the outdoor lighting industry not only alleviates environmental pollution, but also brings light to most areas without electricity. Solar led street lamps with motion sensors are usually installed outdoors, and the outdoor environment is relatively harsh. Street lights often encounter some rain, snow, wind and frost, and it is very likely that the street lights will not turn on. So how do we usually deal with the situation that the street lights are not on?
First, the controller of the solar led street lamp can be detected. The controller is the core of the solar led street lamp. The red light indicates that it is charging, the flashing indicates that the battery is fully charged. If it is a yellow light, it indicates that the battery is lacking, and the light can't be turned on normally. At this time, you need to check the battery voltage of the solar led street lamp. If the battery is normal, replace with a new controller to see if it is normal. If the light is normal, the controller must be broken, and an adapted controller must be repurchased. If the light is not on, check it.
If the controller failure is ruled out, the next step is to check whether the solar panels are charging normally. Usually, the situation that can't be charged is mainly manifested as voltage and no current. At this time, it is necessary to detect whether the battery panel has current. If there is no current, it is basically concluded that the solar panel has been scrapped. If there is electricity on the solar panel, pay attention to whether there is snow cover. If the solar panels are covered with snow or dead leaves, the solar panels will not be able to absorb enough sunlight, and there will not be enough electricity to provide lighting for the solar led street lamps with motion sensor. If there is dust or dirt on the solar panel, it should be rinsed with clean water, and then gently wipe dry with clean gauze.
Also confirm whether it is the problem of the light source. If the lamp cap of the solar powered street lamp uses too much power, it may cause the battery to be over-discharged and age prematurely. If the power is too small, the brightness is not enough, it will cause unnecessary waste of cost and damage the lamp holder. Therefore, the configuration of the light source must be equipped according to the capacity of the solar panel and battery.
If it is a solar lithium battery, we must first check the connection of each component. If the connection is correct and the contact is good, and the solar led street lamp still does not light up, we must consider whether the solar battery is in an inactive and undervoltage state. If it is in an inactive or under-voltage state, we need to connect the solar panel to the battery to charge it on a sunny day, then disconnect the solar panel from the solar lithium battery, and then connect the LED light source to the battery. If the light is on, it indicates that the lithium battery has been reactivated. If the light still does not turn on, you need to consider whether the solar lithium battery itself is malfunctioning. If the lighting time is short on cloudy and rainy days, it is generally due to the decrease of the storage capacity of the battery and the insufficient power of the battery, just replace the battery.
